Thermoguard Flame Retardant Anti-Graffiti Bond & Colour 5kg (40 sq m)
Description and use
Thermoguard Flame Retardant Anti-Graffiti coating is a decorative, flame retardant anti-graffiti finish for walls.
It is a water based, highly durable two-pack coating system, which is designed to be fire resistant while enabling the removal of graffiti by using graffiti removers.
Thermoguard Flame Retardant Anti-Graffiti finish provides excellent resistance to oil, ink and spray paints.
Thermoguard Flame Retardant Anti-Graffiti Clear Glaze is available as a third coating if required, to upgrade high-risk, multi-layered painted walls (and provide added graffiti resistance), where there is a higher risk of flame spread.
If the wall has already been targeted by vandals, first clean off paint using Thermoguard Thermostrip PRO.
Colour range and finish
Thermoguard Flame Retardant Anti-Graffiti finish is semi-gloss and is available in clear, BS and RAL wall colours. Enter your colour reference in box provided
Thermoguard Flame Retardant Anti-Graffiti Clear Glaze is a clear gloss.
Fire test standards
Spec 1 (normal risk surfaces 2 coats of the bond primer and colour coat): BS 476 Parts 6 + 7 Class O.
Spec 2 (high-risk multi-layer painted walls 2 coats of the bond primer and colour coat plus 1 coat of the clear glaze): Class B s1 dO + Class O.
Application conditions
Apply by brush, roller or spray.
Do not apply in damp conditions when condensation may form, to cold surfaces or in low temperatures. Stir base and activator thoroughly, then mix, stirring well to create a homogenous mix (use of a paint stirrer on an electric drill is recommended).
Pot life once mixed 2 hours.
Drying and curing times
Touch dry 4 hours.
Hard dry 8-12 hours.
Full cure 7-10 days.
Times stated are for at 20°C. Colder temperatures or high humidity delay drying, curing and hardening
