Thermoguard Fire Varnish Basecoat 20sqm
Thermoguard 2K Fire Varnish Basecoat clear intumescent coating for wood 20 sq m
The special formula finishes provide tough, durable finishes to internal and external wood surfaces that enhance the natural beauty of the wood while fire protecting new/bare surfaces and previously varnished substrates.
The Thermoguard Fire Varnish System is made up of the Thermoguard Fire Varnish Basecoat (a two component, water based product consisting of a base and activator) which is a clear, intumescent varnish to be finished with either a Thermoguard Interior Fire Varnish Overcoat or Exterior 2K Varnish providing protection against UV and wear.
Intumescent fire protection - Thermoguard Fire Varnish
When exposed to fire, Thermoguard Fire Varnish expands to create an insulating barrier, protecting timber surfaces from flames, heat and oxygen, and suppressing emission of deadly smoke and gases.
Thermoguard Fire Varnish Overcoat is available in clear or stained varnish, matt or satin.
