PPG Sigma SigmaZinc 19 (Amercoat 160 HF) 2L

PPG Sigma SigmaZinc 19 (formerly Amercoat 160 HF) is a one component, zinc rich epoxy primer with excellent anti-corrosive properties which can be applied to all steel surfaces and surfaces coated with zinc epoxies and zinc silicates.

SigmaZinc 19 contains 90% zinc by weight and is designed to repair two component zinc epoxy primers and zinc silicate primers. It can also be used to recondition aged, derusted, galvanised steel.

SigmaZinc 19 dries at temperatures as low as -10C yet can resist heat up to 125C consistently and 175C non-consistently. It is extremely quick drying.

It comes in a grey, flat finish.

Application (at 20C):

• Stir well before use
• Apply with brush, roller or spray
• Touch dry: 4 minutes
• Recoatable: 2 hours
• Coverage: 10.9m² per litre at 35 microns
• Volume solids: 38%
• Recommended dry film thickness: 35 microns
• Recommended thinner: 91-79
