PPG Sigma SigmaWeld 210 (DSP 210) 10L

PPG Sigma SigmaWeld 210 (formerly Dimetcote Steel Primer (DSP) 210) is a two component, moisture curing, low zinc (ethyl) silicate prefabrication primer which is suitable for automatic application on shot blasted steel plates.

SigmaWeld 210 is extremely fast drying so it reduces downtime, allowing you to get back to work quickly. It can be used in seawater immersion in combination with controlled cathodic protection systems and also provides good cutting and welding properties, including MIG and MAG welding in various positions such as automatic or manual welding.

SigmaWeld 210 provides regular smooth welding seams and releases little or no fumes during welding and cutting.

SigmaWeld 210 comes in a grey, flat finish.

Application (at 20C):      

• Stir well before use
• Apply with spray
• Touch dry: 2-4 minutes
• Recoatable: 16 hours
• Full cure after 3 days
• Coverage: 19.0m² per litre at 20 microns
• Volume solids: 38%        
• Recommended dry film thickness: 15-20 microns
• Recommended thinner: 40-25
