PPG Sigma SigmaShield 1200 (Amercoat 340) 20L
SigmaShield 1200 offers excellent protection against various threats that could damage the surface, including corrosion, abrasion and impact. It is an abrasion resisting product for use on tanks, cargo and other structures which are subject to a high level of wear and tear.
SigmaShield 1200 is for use on steel and blasted steel and is suitable for immersion services too. It can be used to improve resistance against tough chemicals and crude oil with temperatures of up to 90C and it reduces the risk of fire hazard and explosion in confined spaces.
SigmaShield 1200 comes in a black or light grey, gloss finish (other colours may be available on request call 01753 686888).

Application (at 20C):
- Stir well before use
- Apply with airless spray (brush or roller for stripe coating and spot repair only)
- Touch dry: 6 hours
- Recoatable: 24 hours
- Full cure after 5 days
- Coverage: 2.5m2 per litre at 400 microns, 1.3m2 per litre at 750 microns
- Volume solids: 100%
- Recommended dry film thickness: 400-750 microns
- Recommended thinner: do not thin
