PPG Sigma SigmaPrime 200

PPG Sigma SigmaPrime 200 is a two component, multipurpose, polyamide, anti-corrosive coating for use as the priming undercoat in epoxy paint systems.

SigmaPrime 200 offers excellent adhesion to steel, shop primers, galvanised steel and non-ferrous metals, giving them good adhesion, excellent abrasion, impact and chemical resistance. It is suitable for use in all vessel areas.

SigmaPrime 200 works well in a wide range of climatic conditions, cures well in extreme conditions and temperatures, and provides the ultimate protection from water damage and corrosion in industrial and coastal/marine environments.

SigmaPrime 200 comes in a grey or yellow-green, eggshell finish.

Application (at 20C):

• Stir well before use
• Apply with spray, brush or roller
• Touch dry: 1.5 hours
• Recoatable: 2.5 hours
• Full cure after 7 days
• Coverage: 6.0m² per litre at 100 microns
• Volume solids: 60%
• Recommended dry film thickness: 100-200 microns per coat
• Recommended thinner: 91-92 (no thinner needed for brush/roller)
