PPG Sigma SigmaGuard 603 20L

PPG Sigma SigmaGuard 603 is a two component, solvent free, amine cured epoxy coating designed for use as a chemical resistant, surface tolerant steel tank lining.

SigmaGuard 603 is suitable for chemical and petrochemical tanks for offshore, marine dry docks, ballast water tanks, crude oil tanks, inland marine and sea stores. It tolerates marginal surface preparation, offers good corrosion resistance, reduced explosion and fire hazard risk, as well as good visibility because of its light colours.

SigmaCover 280 is a suitable primer.

SigmaGuard 603 comes in light grey or off white in a gloss finish.

Application (at 20C):

• Stir well before use
• Apply with airless spray (brush, roller for stripe coating and spot repair only)
• Touch dry: 8 hours
• Recoatable: 24 hours
• Full cure after 5 days
• Coverage: 3.3m² per litre at 300 microns
• Volume solids: 100%
• Recommended dry film thickness: 300 microns
• Recommended thinner: do not thin
