PPG Sigma SigmaGuard 1091 5L

PPG Sigma SigmaGuard 1091 is a two component, solvent free, polyamine cured, quartz reinforced sprayable epoxy compound that is highly protective when applied to steel and concrete.

SigmaGuard 1091 can be applied to various substrates and appliances including sewage lines and receivers, waste water treatment plants, power plants and textile mills. It is designed to offer the best protection and adherence in dry and wet conditions and offers resistance to a variety of mild chemicals.

SigmaGuard 1091 produces a seamless, water impermeable polymer mortar which has excellent anti-corrosive properties. Once dry it leaves a light grey, rough matt finish.

It offers excellent adhesion in wet and dry exposures and resists abrasion and impact in high wear and tear conditions. Surfaces can be exposed to water just 30 minutes after application, despite the surface not being completely dry.

It produces a light grey, flat finish.

Application (at 20C):

• Stir well before use
• Apply with spray
• Touch dry: 6-8 hours
• Recoatable: 24 hours
• Full cure after 7 days
• Coverage: 0.3m² per litre at 3000 microns
• Volume solids: 100%
• Recommended dry film thickness: 3mm
