PPG Sigma SigmaFast 220

PPG Sigma SigmaFast 220 is a two component, high build, direct to metal polyurethane primer for steel and galvanised steel where a decorative, gloss finish is required.

SigmaFast 220 is designed for use in shop interiors because it is fast curing, which minimises downtime.

It offers good resistance to natural atmospheric conditions, resulting in a highly durable and flexible coating which will not fade or yellow when exposed to UV light.

SigmaFast 220 offers excellent adhesion to steel and galvanised steel and although it provides an attractive gloss finish in almost any BS or RAL colour, it can also be recoated with most polyurethane paints.

SigmaFast 220 cures at temperatures as low as -5C.

Price includes hardener.

Application:       

• Stir well before use
• Apply with brush, roller or spray
• Touch dry: 1 hour (at 20C)
• Recoatable: 4 hours
• Full cure after 4 days
• Coverage: 6.8m² per litre at 80 microns, 4.5m² per litre at 120 microns
• Volume solids: 54%
• Recommended dry film thickness: 80-120 microns depending on system
• Recommended thinner: 21-06
