PPG Sigma SigmaDur One
PPG Sigma Sigmadur One is a one component, high gloss, quick drying paint for maintenance and the aesthetic improvement of the internal and external surfaces of boats and ships.
Sigmadur One is a marine paint that offers excellent adhesion even on aged, alkyd, chlorinated rubber, epoxy and polyurethane coatings, and is easy to apply by brush or roller on topsides, decks and superstructures.
Sigmadur One is touch dry in just one hour and it works well with previous coats (when the surface is dry, clean, free from contamination and roughened if necessary). It offers UV protection as well as excellent colour and gloss retention, keeping paintwork looking as good as possible for as long as possible.
Sigmadur One is available in a range of BS and RAL colours.
Application:
- Stir well before use
- Apply with brush or roller
- Touch dry: 1 hours (at 20C)
- Recoatable: 8 hours
- Full cure after 4 days
- Coverage: 4.3m2 per litre at 35 microns
- Volume solids: 53%
- Recommended dry film thickness: 35-70 microns depending on system
- Recommended thinner: not needed
