PPG Sigma SigmaDur 590 (Amershield)

PPG Sigma Sigmadur 590 (Amershield) is a two component acrylic polyurethane topcoat for various external surfaces in the marine environment, including railings, posts and exterior walls that have been appropriately prepared.

Sigmadur 590 (Amershield) offers an excellent gloss finish in a range of shades and offers outstanding weather resistance. It will not yellow when exposed to direct sunlight and has excellent splash resistance to a range of chemicals, oils and paraffins.

Sigmadur 590 (Amershield) is available in a range of BS and RAL colours.               

Application:

• Stir well before use
• Apply with brush or roller
• Touch dry: 2.5 hours (at 20C)
• Recoatable: 8 hours
• Full cure after 4 days
• Coverage: 7.3m² per litre at 100 microns
• Volume solids: 73%
• Recommended dry film thickness: 100-125 microns depending on system
• Recommended thinner: 60-15
