PPG Sigma SigmaCover 805 20L

PPG Sigma SigmaCover 805 is a two component epoxy coating for steel, galvanised steel and iron that is especially good for a marine environment because of its strong resistance to salt and fresh water. It is also highly resistant to chemically polluted water.

A high solids, polyamine adduct cured coating, SigmaCover 805 is tar free and offers excellent abrasion resistance, so it can be used on floors as well as vertical substrates. It can be applied directly to metal.

SigmaCover 805 has excellent waterproofing properties so it protects substrates from corrosion.

SigmaCover 805 is suitable for railings, posts, decks and most other marine based surfaces that are exposed to atmospheric conditions. It is available in black, off-white and two shades of grey to suit the metal substrate. It has a gloss finish.

Application:

• Stir well before use
• Apply with brush, roller or spray
• Touch dry: 3 hours (at 20C)
• Recoatable: 16 hours
• Coverage: 5.5m² per litre at 150 microns
• Volume solids: 82%
• Recommended dry film thickness: 150-250 microns depending on system
• Recommended thinner: 91-92
