PPG Sigma SigmaCover 400 (SigmaCover 640, Amerlock 400 C)

PPG Sigma SigmaCover 400 (formerly SigmaCover 640/Amerlock 400 C) is a two component, high solids epoxy coating for concrete and metal, including steel, galvanised steel, carbon steel and non-ferrous metals.

It is a self-priming epoxy coating with good adhesive properties and is suitable for concrete and metal floors, metal pipes, structural steel, bridges, tank exteriors, containers and oil tanks. SigmaCover 400 is also suitable for chemical acid and fuel bunds. It has London Underground 1255 approval.

SigmaCover 400 protects the substrate from chemical spillages, splashes and fumes from acids, alkalis, solvents and water.

SigmaCover 400 is available in three standard colours as well as various BS and RAL colours, and comes in a semi-gloss finish.

Price includes hardener.

Application:

• Stir well before use
• Apply with brush, roller or spray
• Touch dry: 6 hours (at 20C)
• Recoatable: 16 hours
• Full cure after 7 days
• Coverage: 8.5m² per litre at 100 microns
• Volume solids: 85%
• Recommended dry film thickness: 100-200 microns depending on system
• Recommended thinner: 91-92
