PPG Sigma PhenGuard Subsea 780 (SigmaLine 780) 4L

PPG Sigma Phenguard 780 Subsea (formerly SigmaLine 780) is a two component, amine adduct cured phenolic epoxy finish coat which is part of a system used to protect subsea equipment.

Phenguard 780 Subsea is for marine appliances that are immersed in water, protecting them from corrosion and rusting.

It offers excellent resistance to high temperatures when applied to equipment sited underwater and is available in three bright colours that can easily be located by ROV.

Application (at 20C):

• Stir well before use
• Apply with spray
• Touch dry: 2 hours
• Recoatable: 3 hours
• Full cure after 3 days
• Coverage: 6.6m² per litre at 100 microns, 3.8m² per litre at 175 microns
• Volume solids: 66%
• Recommended dry film thickness: 100-175 microns depending on system
• Recommended thinner: 91-92
