PPG Sigma PhenGuard 940

PPG Sigma PhenGuard 940 is a two component, high build, amine adduct cured, phenolic, epoxy finishing coat for the PhenGuard tank coating system.

PhenGuard 940 offers excellent adhesion when applied to the surface layer of PhenGuard 935.

It resists various chemicals, organic acids, alcohols, edible oils, fats and solvents and works to resist corrosion with maximum cargo flexibility, offering low cargo absorption. PhenGuard 940 is especially good at protecting a surface from hot water.

PhenGuard 940 comes in a light grey eggshell finish.

Price includes hardener.

Application (at 20C):      

• Stir well before use
• Apply with spray, brush or roller
• Touch dry: 2 hours
• Recoatable: 24 hours
• Full cure after 10 days
• Coverage: 6.6m² per litre at 100 microns
• Volume solids: 66%
• Recommended dry film thickness: 100 microns
• Recommended thinner: 91-92
