PPG Sigma EP 111 Primer

PPG Sigma EP 111 Primer is a two component, high solids, polyamide zinc phosphate epoxy primer for steel and concrete, which offers exceptional rust prevention in environments exposed to large levels of water and moisture.

Sigma EP 111 Primer adheres particularly well to steel and provides excellent protection from corrosion even in environments exposed to large levels of water and moisture, such as humid industrial conditions and coastal regions. It protects the substrate against the weather and it is compatible with most two component and conventional coatings even after long weathering periods.

Sigma EP 111 Primer is Highways Approved Item No 111 and it comes in a cream, eggshell finish.

Price includes hardener.

Application (at 20C):

• Stir well before use
• Apply with spray, brush or roller
• Touch dry: 4 hours
• Recoatable: 8 hours
• Full cure after 4 days
• Coverage: 6.8m² per litre at 100 microns
• Volume solids: 68%
• Recommended dry film thickness: 75-150 microns
• Recommended thinner: 91-92
