PPG Sigma AquaCover 400 is a two component, polyamine cured, water based epoxy coating for structural steel, galvanised steel and concrete. It is designed for use in industrial or coastal exposures where weathering can be a massive factor in damaging surfaces and is particularly suitable when solvents are not permitted because of health and safety reasons.

Sigma AquaCover 400 is best used to protect surfaces before overcoating with any Sigma topcoat. It can be overcoated with most dispersion and alkyd paints to create a durable finish but is best used on surfaces primed with AquaCover 200.

Application:

• Apply with spray, long haired brush or polyether roller with rounded edges
• Touch dry: 1.5 hours
• Recoatable: 2 hours
• Coverage: 7.1m² per litre
• Volume solids: 53%
• Recommended dry film thickness: 75 microns
• Recommended thinner: tap water
