Mipa EP 100-20 2K Epoxy Primer
Mipa EP 100-20 is a two-pack epoxy zinc phosphate tintable coating. The zinc phosphate additives aligned with the epoxy resin gives optimum chemical and corrosion protection. Suitable as a primer for underwater and chemical coatings or a intermediate coating for EP zinc dust priming coats. EP 100-20 can be used as a finish coat but as with all epoxy coatings it will “chalk” or fade under Ultra violet (sun) light. For external exposure the EP 100-20 should be over-coated with a suitable u.v. resistant top-coat.
Suitable as a primer for underwater and chemical coatings or a intermediate coating for EP zinc dust priming coats. Typically used on storage tanks, pipe/duct work, structural steel, bridges or as a basecoat under a suitable two-pack polyurethane where optimum protection and extended timescales to first maintenance are required.
