Manor Zinfos 515 Semi-Matt DTM 20L

Zinfos 515 is a single pack direct to metal, anti-corrosive primer-finish, eliminating the need for a separate primer.

Zinfos 515 has excellent application properties and sag resistance, allowing for high film builds in one pass. A medium solids 'one coat anti corrosive' semi-matt finish (25% sheen approx.). Applied by airless spray Zinfos 515 has been designed to assist processes conforming to the VOC SED regulations for metal processes emitting less than 15 tonnes of VOC per year.

Typical applications include: portable accommodation units, shipping containers/container conversions, metal stillages, exterior of storage tanks, skips, farm buildings painted in a spray shop and original equipment.

Previously painted steel; remove rust back to sound metal. Remove loose or flaky paint. Bring
forward by patch priming. Sound previously painted surfaces should be lightly abraded prior to
application in order to promote adhesion. Always perform a test area when applying over an
unknown previous coating.Remove dust, oil or grease with Panel Cleaner. If using a waterborne degreaser remove fully before drying as this could affect adhesion. Test a small area prior to painting.

If an additional primer is required for a higher film build affording even higher corrosion protection you can use either Manor Fast Primer, Zinfos HB585, Quick Dry Matt Primer or QD Phosphate HB420.

For application onto aluminium and galvanised steel substrates; abrade and pre-treat with Manor Chromate Free Wash Primer or Manor 1 Pack Etch Primer in accordance with data sheets for these products.

Application airless or conventional spray, brush and roller limited to smaller areas due to the speed of drying and ability to maintain a "wet-edge"

Thinning; Manor Industrial thinners.

Drying times;
Touch dry 1 hour at 20oC, 2 hours at 10oC
Force drying at 60oC will enhance the gloss level.
