Manor Prokote DTM 5ltr pack
Manor Prokote DTM is a high solids, low VOC, two pack acrylic polyurethane typically used as a time saving semi-gloss 'one-coat finish' on OEM heavy metal parts or structures subject to moderately severe use, such as mechanical damage, or chemical spillage. DTM Prokote contain zinc phosphate anti-corrosive pigments and can also be used over an epoxy primer when extra corrosion resistance is required.
The features are:

- Excellent adhesion to well prepared structural plate steel, stainless steel, aluminium and GRP
- Superb chemical resistance
- Rapid hardness development, touch dry after 90 minutes, dry to handle after 6-8 hours
- Force cure at 80C for one hour enables assembly and fitting immediately after cooling
SUITABLE SUBSTRATES AND PREPARATION AS A DIRECT TO METAL FINISH ON UNTREATED STEEL
For best result Blast clean prior to painting to SA 2 1/2, ensure all corrosion and mill scale is removed. Otherwise manually abrade using power hand tools and abrasives to ST2.Remove dust. Remove oil or grease with Panel Cleaner. If using a waterborne degreaser remove fully. Test a small area prior to painting.
AS A FINISH OVER A PRIMER
May be used over Manor UPF CT, 2 Pack Epoxy Primer, Promastic or 1 Pack Etch Primer CT, refer to the primer data sheet for suitable substrates and preparation. If primer has been left for more than 3 days after application abrade to improve adhesion.
PREVIOUSLY PAINTED
Previously painted steel; remove rust back to sound metal. Remove loose or flaky paint. Check for compatibility by applying paint or Two Pack Polyurethane Thinners to a test area, if the coating softens a sealer must be applied first. Seek advice Avenue's Technical Department. Bring forward by patch priming. Sound previously painted surfaces should be lightly abraded prior to application in order to promote adhesion. Remove dust. Remove oil or grease with Panel Cleaner. If using a waterborne degreaser remove fully.

Mix 4 parts base; 1 part activator
Thinner; Manor 2 Pack Polyurethane Slow Thinner
Touch dry in 90mins at 20oC
