Johnstones Trade Woodworks Quick Dry Opaque Wood Finish makes the perfect barn paint. This is a water-based solid black "Ebony" colour (non-transparent) wood finish that gives a long lasting, all weather protective finish to garden furniture and all exterior woodwork made of both rough sawn and planed timber. Ideal for wooden cladding, fencing and ship-lap feather-edge boards.
It is water repellent, resists UV attack and is microporous, which allows the wood to breathe and therefore prevents rotting. It is water based so most tasks can be completed in one day. It gives up to five years of weather protection.
