ISF PC2 Precat Clear Sanding Sealer (Melamine) 5L

For use with interior joinery & furniture. A high quality melamine resin based formulation with high solids (for a pre-cat) which reduces the number of required coats. Quick drying with good flow & marr resistance properties. PC2 Sealer may also be used under ISF Acid Cat Systems.

System topcoat PC2 (Melamine) Clear 10% to 90% Sheen.

Thinners for system: No 31 Anti Bloom Retarding Thinners, PCT Pre-Catalysed Thinners, PCT Fast Dry Thinners  

APPLICATION EQUIPMENT: Conventional airless / airmix or HVLP spray equipment.

APPLICATION: Thin with PCT Thinners as required up to a maximum of 10% by volume. Apply a light coat of PC2 Sealer, allow to dry & de-nib. Apply another sealer coat as necessary. Then after a further de-nib, apply a full even wet coat of PC2 Clear Top Coat & allow to dry. For colour shading PC2 may be tinted with 'ISF 300 Range Woodstain', up to a maximum 5% by volume.

FURTHER INFORMATION: Please ensure that the total system film thickness (DFT) does not exceed 150 microns. Always lightly sand between coats to assist adhesion. PC2 lacquer may be used Coat on Coat. Please note: This product can also be supplied in 400 ml Aerosols with professional adjustable fan nozzels.
