Hi-Build MIO Zinc Phosphate Primer 5L

A fast drying, high build, anti-corrosive coating containing zinc phosphate and micaceous iron oxide
(MIO) flakes. Typically used as a high performance single pack primer / inter-coat for steelwork subject
to severe exposure conditions. Technical specifications are available. MIO flakes form an excellent
moisture barrier coat within the paint film, reducing the potential for water permeability and corrosion to
levels comparable with a two pack paint system.

Sheen when cured; semi-matt finish.
Application; Spray, brush or roller (Not suitable for application onto large panels due to speed of dry).
Special, excellent sag resistance, quick drying
Thinner Manor Industrial thinner
Touch dry in 20-30 mins at 20oC
Available in Either Black or metallic grey
Overcoating; Can be overcoated with Fast Enamel, 1 Pack Polyurethane or 1 Pack Polyurethane QD

Typical uses are: blast cleaned structural steelwork, bridges and pylons or maintenance of any steel structure requiring enhanced protection in a single pack paint system.

METAL FINISHING
Used when fabricating external structures that require painting with a single pack paint system.

VEHICLE REFINISH and the ORIGINAL COATING of VEHICLES or TRAILERS.
Used as a coating for commercial vehicle chassis and trailers, either as a primer or primer / finish.

Note; The primer must be mechanically abraded if not overcoated within 48 hours to ensure adequate inter-coat adhesion
