Hammerite Brush Cleaner & Thinners
Due to the unique make-up of Hammerite paint, after use brushes and equipment must be cleaned with Hammerite Brush Cleaner & Thinners, which can also be used to thin Hammerite paint before applying by spray. Hammerite Brush Cleaner & Thinners is for cleaning up brushes and spills, as well as for removing dirt, grime, salt and loose rust.
To clean brushes: brush out excess paint, pour contents into a metal container and rinse brushes and equipment thoroughly. To keep brushes soft, wash in detergent.
To thin paint for spraying with conventional spray equipment: use 2 parts Hammerite Metal Paint to 1 part Hammerite Brush Cleaner & Thinners. Set spray gun to between 25 and 35psi (approximately 2 bar). Adjust spray to full fan width. Shake spray gun before and during use to ensure an even colour.
Available in 250ml, 1L and 2.5L tins.
Protect from extremes of temperature and sources of ignition.
Do not empty into drains or water courses.
