Fire & High Temp Paint
Intumescent fire resistant paint and flame retardant paint provide an essential delay between a fire starting and taking hold, to allow time for people to escape and for the fire service to put out the blaze.
Heat resistant and high temperature paint is designed to be applied to substrates that are expected to get very hot, such as exhausts, engines, barbecues and stoves.
At Tools-paint.com we supply a complete range of intumescent fire paint and heat resistant coatings backed up by the necessary technical support. Paint is available for many substrates from steel beams through to wood, walls and ceilings, for buildings where fire resistance is required.
As well as primers and basecoats we can supply topcoat compliant fire retardant paint mixed in house, which means you can select from a wide range of colours.
As this is an area where getting the right paint and applying it correctly is vital, please call our experts on 01753 684084 or email sales@tools-paint.com for advice.
Many of our paints come with fire certification to meet building regulations, on request.
Fire ratings our paints cover:
Class 1 – requires no surface spread of flame, generally to allow escape through a corridor or stairway.
Class 0 – is an additional level of protection for walls or ceilings where limited combustibility is required in high-risk areas, such as escape routes.
Fire Penetration Resistance – 30 minutes or 60 minutes' protection.
